Home Style Vibes (“we”, “us”, “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, the legal bases we rely on, and your rights.

2) What data we collect & why
We process personal data only as necessary for the purposes below.
a) Essential site operation & security
Data: device info, transient IP, user agent, request metadata, essential cookies (e.g., caching/security).
Purpose: deliver the website, prevent abuse/fraud, maintain availability and security.
Legal bases: legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)); legal obligations where applicable.
Tools: hosting (Hostinger), basic login protection (Solid Security Basic), server/cache.
b) Tag management (Google Tag Manager)
We use Google Tag Manager (GTM) to load and control tags. GTM itself does not set cookies or store personal data beyond what is necessary to load tags; it relays consent signals from our CMP so that tags fire only according to your choices.
c) Analytics (Google Analytics 4 via GTM, with Consent Mode v2)
Data: aggregated usage data; GA4 anonymizes IP by design; in the EEA/UK collection starts only after consent.
Purpose: measure usage and improve content/performance.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) in regions requiring consent; legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)) where permitted.
Settings: Google data processing terms accepted; data sharing with other Google services disabled.
Opt-out: change choices any time via Manage consent in the footer.
d) Advertising & personalization (Google Ads / future Mediavine)
Data: marketing cookies/IDs; limited event data via Consent Mode until consent.
Purpose: show more relevant ads and measure ad performance.
Legal basis: consent (EEA/UK).
US (CPRA): we do not “sell” personal information. We may “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising when you enable Marketing cookies. Use the Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information link in the footer to opt out. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.
e) Affiliate links & tracking
Data: outbound click events and partner attribution parameters when you use affiliate links.
Purpose: attribute commissions (at no extra cost to you).
Legal basis: consent for non-essential tracking; legitimate interests (disclosure and fraud prevention).
f) Email subscriptions (Brevo)
Data: your email address and optionally name when you subscribe; double opt-in is used.
Purpose: send helpful emails and occasional offers; manage subscriptions.
Legal basis: consent (Art. 6(1)(a)); unsubscribe any time via the link in each email.
Processor: Brevo (Sendinblue).
g) Digital product purchases (if/when enabled)
Data: order details (name, email, product, price), limited billing data.
Purpose: process orders, deliver digital downloads, comply with accounting/tax rules, support/fraud prevention.
Legal bases: contract (Art. 6(1)(b)); legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)); legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)).
Processor: Lemon Squeezy (payments processed by Lemon Squeezy or its payment providers; we do not store full card data).
h) Contact & support
Data: information you send by email or via our contact form.
Purpose: respond to inquiries and provide support.
Legal basis: legitimate interests or contract.
Storage: with WPForms Lite we do not store entries in WordPress by default; messages are delivered to our inbox.
3) Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies to run the site (essential) and—after consent—for Analytics and Marketing. Our Consent Management Platform (CMP) implements Google Consent Mode v2. When the banner appears you can Accept all, Reject all, or set Preferences; your choices control whether analytics/advertising tags fire via GTM. You can change your choice anytime via Manage consent in the footer.

We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) and, where applicable, Do Not Track signals.
4) Embeds & third-party content
Articles may include embeds (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest). These services may set cookies or collect data. We block such content until you enable the relevant cookie category (Marketing). A placeholder explains how to enable it.
Fonts: we self-host Google Fonts.
5) No public accounts or comments
We do not offer public user registration or WordPress comments at this time. If this changes, we will update this Policy.
6) Data sharing & processors
We share data with trusted providers strictly as needed to operate this site:
- Hostinger International Ltd. (hosting/infrastructure)
- Google LLC — Google Tag Manager (tag management) and Google Analytics 4 (analytics)
- Google LLC — Google Ads (advertising, if enabled)
- Brevo (Sendinblue) — email marketing platform
- Lemon Squeezy, LLC, Etsy, Gumroad etc. (what we actually use for selling) — e-commerce for digital products
- Security tools — Solid Security Basic (login protection)
- Others as necessary (e.g., cache/CDN, email delivery)
All processors act under data processing agreements and our instructions.
7) International transfers
Where data is transferred outside the EEA/UK (e.g., to the United States), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as EU Standard Contractual Clauses and supplementary measures as needed.
8) Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary or as required by law. Typical periods:
- Analytics (GA4): up to 14 months.
- Newsletter (Brevo): until you unsubscribe; unsubscribed/bounced contacts are regularly removed; suppression lists retained to honor opt-outs.
- Support emails/contact messages: up to 12 months after resolution.
- Order/transaction data (if applicable): retained per accounting/tax law.
9) Your rights (GDPR)
You may have rights to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object, and data portability. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority.

11) Children’s privacy
This site is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us to request deletion.
12) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data (e.g., hardened hosting, basic login protection, least-privilege access). However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
13) Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted here with a new “Last updated” date.
